Terms of Service
Last updated April 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Voxa, a desktop voice-to-text app provided by Voxa (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Voxa, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You need an account to use Voxa. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. Plans and billing
- Free trial: every new account gets 14 days of full Voxa Pro at no cost, no card required. Referring a friend who signs up grants both parties +7 trial days, stackable.
- Pro subscription: $9.99 / month, billed monthly via Stripe. Pro unlocks unlimited recordings, all 99 languages, and advanced cleanup.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account page or the Stripe customer portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which Stripe will collect where required.
3. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error or have a billing concern, contact support@withvoxa.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review on a case-by-case basis. Where required by law (for example, EU/UK consumer protections), statutory rights apply.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Voxa for any unlawful purpose, including transcribing conversations without the consent required by your jurisdiction.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract our source code beyond what applicable law allows.
- Resell, sublicense, or expose Voxa as a service to third parties without our written permission.
- Abuse the service through automated traffic, scraping, or by bypassing usage limits.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the audio and text you generate with Voxa. We process this content only to deliver the service (transcription, cleanup, history, stats). We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. Our intellectual property
The Voxa app, brand, and website are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use Voxa for personal or internal business purposes while your account is in good standing.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Voxa depends on third-party providers (speech APIs, Stripe, Supabase) and your local network. Scheduled maintenance, outages, or provider incidents may temporarily affect functionality.
8. Disclaimer
Voxa is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that transcriptions will be error-free or that the service will meet every requirement you have.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10. Termination
You can stop using Voxa and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these Terms or if continuing to provide the service is no longer commercially viable. On termination, the license to use Voxa ends and we will delete your account data per our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date and, where appropriate, communicated by email. Continued use of Voxa after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
